Hi there,
I don't know why; however, I have noticed a strange thing when rendering model text. So far, this hold true for all text fonts with letters after the name, like "AvantGarde BT or LT" etc.
They look great in regular 3d and camera views, but, when rendered, they change. All of the fonts that have letters after the name tend to render as though they are set a few inches away from the building. (The shadows gave it away) Almost like they were created as stand-off letters.
Just thought that I would share this.
