Hello to AUGI Members:

We are experiencing a problem with engineers exploding blocks with attributes. No matter how many times we tell them not to do this it happens over and over again.

I would like to develop a reactor that would fire-off whenever anyone runs the explode command or types the shortcut x that runs the explode command that displays an alert box with a message notifying them not to explode any attributes. An example of the message might be as follows:

"ALERT.....You Have Activated The Explode Command.....Please Do Not Explode Any Attributes With This Option.....Thank You For Your Cooperation....!"

Perhaps this warning will make them think twice before exploding attributes.

I am new to reactors so It would be appreciated if someone can assist me with this program or provide an example that I could use to develop the reactor myself.

Any help with this matter would be appreciated...!!

Regards,
Vince

If the engineers aren't astute Acad users you could always undefine the explode command.

Hi Vince

Please note I've *moved* this thread from the ACAD 2005 General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58) Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

Thanks, Mike
