So no one replied, Ill ask a different way. Can you export a feature line to survey equipment that uses Trimble?

You can turn it into an Alignment+Profile, then export THAT via Trimble Link...

Oh, sorry, I may have spoken too soon...

I'm not sure if there's a way in default C3D to create an Alignment/Profile from a Feature Line. I don't see an option for that...

There's third-party tools such as the Sincpac-C3D CAPFeature (http://www.quuxsoft.com/SincpacC3D_Help/SP_CreateAlignmentProfileFeatureLine.htm) command that will do it. But without third-party tools, I'm not sure how to go about it.. The only approach that comes to mind is to add the Feature Line to a Surface, then create an Alignment from the Feature Line, then sample the Surface to get the Profile.

But I'm spoiled by my third-party tools, and may not know the fastest way to do this task in plain C3D... Someone else may have another idea.

You can export a profile and alignment. But I want to use the stations from the center line and export a feature line that is offset from it (without creating a corridor).

You can explode the feature line so it becomes a 3d polyline then export that
