View Full Version : Duct Insulation Problem

About to throw my computer out the window again... so hoping someone can assist with one of those niggly problems with seemingly no solution!

I am documenting ductwork with insulation using a filter to apply a hatch pattern to define my insulation type via a project parameter, as well as using the 'Insulation Thickness' system parameter to add actual dimension to the duct - fairly standard practice it seems.

For some reason 1 piece of duct is choosing not to take on the extra 50mm insulation thickness no matter what I try. I have redrawn, checked different view to see if its a view based problem - no dice. Every time I connect up to this particular system, the one piece of ductwork loses its insulation thickness!!

I have attached an image to indicate the problem.

Line thickness difference is due to a VG override on duct but not insulation sub-cat and help highlight the issue.
Using Revit 2011 64-bit.

Any ideas? Help save my PC budget!
