1. The possibility to customize your own Navigation Wheel;
I never use the Rewind selection so this could be used for another action.
2. In the middle of the Wheel, a circle with the "Select" arrow.
Now we have to go to the "Select Button" button in the toolbar to reselect the Select action.

You might want to move this over to the WishList Folder, although, I kinda think it's not going to change as the Navigation Wheel is the same on most Autodesk products these days.
I could definitely see an easier customization option being made available to make something like this happen though.
I for one, use the Rewind quite often when my view tends to zoom out to a view from the ISS from time to time.
Definitely agree the pick option should be easier to access. Also, put the Happy Feet in a more heads up location.

One option to consider....You can re-map the Select and Walk functions to a keyboard shortcut making it easier to access. I mapped mine to the function keys (F9, F10) for quick access. Also, a 3D mouse allows you to conitnuously move throughout the model, but maintain the Select function so you can pick objects as you move.

I hates me some function keys..
I quit trying to remember how I had them mapped back around R12 of Autocad, mainly because I was moonlighting and had to use different computers all the time. Also, when you're providing tech support for over 100 users, it gets crazy trying to use keyboard shortcuts that haven't been pushed to the whole team.
As for the Space mouse, mine is gathering dust somewhere. Never have found a way to set it up where it's actually user friendly.. Might have to look again. But, then, when I go to one of my users computers, I'm handicapped because they don't have the space mouse..
