This is my first shot using the Conceptual Modeling Environment. I'm trying to create a spiral slide. I modeled the points and created the spiral line. I then drew in the circle profile, selected the line, selected the circle and hit Create Form. I then get an error "Unable to create form element: self-intersecting or singular geometry would result."
Attached is the rfa file I have so far and a pdf of what I'm trying to get close to. Thanks!

Host that profile at each point, then select all the profiles and create form.

I appreciate the response. I placed the circle profile at each reference point (all consistent 18" radius). I selected all of the circles and the spline and it couldn't make the form. I selected the Circle Profile at the bottom of the Spline and the Spline and it made the whole form without a problem.

It looks like the circle you have placed is somehow slightly off plane with the end point of the helix. This is causing the failure. If I delete the circle and then set my workplane to the plane on the point at the end of the helix, the form is created as expected.

Thanks! That explains why the circle at the bottom worked fine.

If you are trying to create a nice helix, extrude a cylendar straight up and then subdivide the surface. you can then snap points to each node for a clean spiral.
