We just receive an upgrade to AutoCad Mechanical 2012, And I've been looking for a support manual/book, with no success. Can someone point me in the right direction?

We are currently writing one. It will be out in around September/October. Until then there is a Mechanical 2010 book (4 day class) that is available, but you usually have to go through your VAR to take the class or obtain the book.

Where are you located?

I'm located in Dover NH, It appears that if I want a copy of the book I needs to sign up for a 4 day course, if not do you have an idea of what the book would cost?

DM me your information. I think I already have your information, but just to be sure. I might be able to do something for you. Our book when it comes out will probably be between $80-100 if you compare it to our other titles.

Are you considering getting training for a group of your users or is it just for one individual?

I'll send you an old 2009 book, concepts are there but the interface is older. Should I use the 383 address with attention to you?

I expect to see you order a 2012 manual when we make it available though ;). Like I said it should be sometime this fall that we finish it up. It is just a little lower on our production schedule. You can also check out some blog posts on my blog about Mechanical to get acquainted a little sooner.

http://blogs.rand.com/manufacturing/ just do a category search for Mechanical.
