I've created dynamic feature lines from my corridor and I labelled them but they don't update when the corridor changes. Is this a flaw with 2009?

Instead of a Feature line, it would be suggested that you use a MARKED POINT subassembly to mark that particular feature in the corridor.
be sure to Assign your own UNIQUE Point code and Lable style to it and that those items are also in the code Set being appied to your corridor. Then the label would come directly from the corridor <code set>
Further that unique point code could also later be used for construction survey purposes.

This is an intermediate to advanced topic NOT covered in most Civil 3D training sessions.
It is included in most of my classes when we get to Code Sets and Section Views.

Thanks but I'm not asking how to label sections I was trying to label feature line created from a corridor (in plan). Anyways I learned it isn't possible in 2009.
I just created an alignment from the corridor and use the alignment labels to label the corridor fg surface. The labels are dynamic with the corridor so I'm a happy camper.

The code set would method would also work in plan view.

Either way you have a method that you are happy with.

Good to know but wont that label every frequency or sample line though? I need the labels in isolated locations. (lot corners)

True,

However, one could limit that by altering the frequency, and or adding samples only at the lot corners.
Could be more work than it's worth. However how is this limited by the alignment method? (PI's inserted at the corners?)
It would seem that using a surface spot elevation might be easier.
