Is anyone aware of a customization that will insert a number, and then (on the next click) insert the next sequential number, and so on?
I create patterns for stained glass windows, and this would be a huge improvement to the way I currently do it (copy multiples and edit each one)

Thanks!

Hi

Have a browse of the following thread -

Increment Text Numbers (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=13131)

+

Give the Forum Search Facility a try, should definitely be able to find more information on this very subject within these Forums -

Search Forums (http://forums.augi.com/search.php?)

Have a good one, Mike

In AutoCAD express tools, there is a command (tcount) which will do automatic numbering. You do have to have text there, and it will either add a suffix, prefix, or overwrite existing text. It can do it along x or y axis, or in the order that you picked the numbers.

Will that help?

Go to Lee Ambrosius's site, he has written a routine called " TAG" & "TAG-1". They do exactly what you want. Address below.
