Hi,
I am trying to produce a drawing for a 1930's British motorcycle crankcase which is using imperial BSWhit and BSCycle threadforms.
I am using Autocad Mechanical 2012 (although I am not a poweruser!)
Can anyone tell me if there are any standard libraries available to download for these thread forms?
If not, can anyone tell me how to create a Custom content library for these . . . I am struggling with Autocad's search on this subject?
I was hoping I might be able to copy a standard subset from the ANSI library and then change the values and attributes to match these threads - i.e. convert a 1/4" UNC (20tpi) tapped blind hole to a 1/4" BSW tapped blind hole.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Even if there are imperial libraries out there, I would still like to know if it is possible to make my own, because I know BSCycle has some weird sizes I do not expect to be available.
Many thanks,
Paul
