Hi Everyone-

I have been playing around with Firefox internet browser and have encountered my first problem with AutoCAD. I have a statement in my custom menu that calls up an html file using the browser command which works find with the Internet Explorer, but doesn't work with Firefox. Has any experienced this problem? Is there way to determine which browser is the default? TIA.

I think it's a problem inherent in the way AutoCAD was written. I believe, for example, that the help files fun off of IE. What I've done is to remove all icons and links for IE off of all the computers here but leave the app itself in place so that AutoCAD can still use it. You probably don't want to take IE off completely anyway because you need it for Windows Update and a few other sites that are obnoxious enough to write program-specific code.

This very question came up in an earlier thread:

I have tried using the browser command with Firefox and have no problem. Is the browser actually starting and loading the page? Or is it a problem with the page not looking right? Also what version of Firefox are you using?
