Point File Format

Is there a way to set the Point File Format to a default PNEZD? If there is can someone tell me where to locate it?

To the best of my knowledge, NO

autodesk droped the ball on this area of the COMMAND Settings for points, and gives us no control, of the Create Points>>import Points function

However IF one uses the import Event to import a point file it does appear to default to the last format used. Which isn't the same thing, and many do not like to use the Survey Database for this task.
