Disappearing Objects

weird stuff happening here . . . when I zoom out I can see my parts such as sprockets and chains . . . but when I zoom in they disappear. Any Ideas??

Disappearing object in Auto Cad 3D

On the command line, enter OPTIONS.
In the "Options" dialog box, click the "System" tab.
On the "System" tab, under 3D Performance, click "Performance Settings".
Under Degradation Order, scroll to the bottom of the list and deselect Wireframe Display.
Click OK to close each dialog box
