Surface creation from point file(URGENT HELP)

hi, why is that when i create a surface base on a point file i just exported from other surface data, my surface is now rotated in wrong direction.. i dont know what happen. can someone help me settle this? thanks.

you must verify that yu are using th CORRECT point file format..

If you export as PNEZ

then import as PENZ then it will rotate the data into the wrong quadrant on you.

hi mjfarrel, thanks again... im exporting the point as PNEZ and save it as .csv file... i also importing it as PNEZ file format... so how will i get it in the right rotation? thanks again for the help.

I will need to see the data to answer that question.
IF
You are actually exporting as PNEZ
and THEN
Importing as PNEZ then there should be no roation of the data by 90 degrees into the wrong quadrant.

Given you already have the surface, I would suggest that you
A) verify the format of the point data being exported, and the settings prior to import that the correct format is being selected.
B) Export the surface as Land XML, and then import into the other file as LandXML, and skip the exporting of points all together.
