How to create an open channel

How do i create a open channel for my strom water network because we have only circular / rectangular pipes only. i can model it using subassembly but i cant edit or get the analysis results in SSA isn't? im using Civil3D 2012. Any one suggest me how to procced? Thanx.

that analysis will need to be done inside of the Hydraflow Express extension for the open channel.
