tables - sorting data possible within autocad?

Is it possible to sort data in TABLES without exporting it out to excel and back to acad?

Not that I know of. If anyone knows a way I would love to hear it.

Sounds silly, I try and use embedded OLE still for complex tables. Backwards and archaic yes, but it is a huge improvement for things like this.

I believe -- though I've yet to test it myself -- that if you link in a table from excel you can sort in the source spreadsheet and have that 'work,' but short of that or the above solution, no, I don't think you can.
