contours to be transparent for plotting

I'am trying to get contours to be transparent for plotting, i've set them to be 70 % and tried 50% and checked the plot transparency on. but they still plot as if they were full weight. any sugestions would be great.

I'm going to suggest using screening as I can duplicate the NON transparent effect that you have already.

You might have more luck using a(n) STB and assigning a transparent style to the layer, and or creating a new layer name and asigning that named style to it.

My guess is that unless you EXPORT this data to Autocad the tranpaerncy feature will not function on the contour (SURFACE) objects.
