Mapping Issue

Hello,

I've seen this article http://cadgneto.blogs.com/cadgneto/2008/01/mapping-the-use.html on mapping ACADE User1 field to the number field so that you can use internal part numbers.

The article is a little old now as the product has moved on a bit, but I was wondering whether anyone has a modern translation they could share please? I have tried mapping but it does not work, so was wondering whether anyone has tried this recently?

I've never don anything with Acad E, but this past November in Vegas there was a class at AU that might help you.

If this link doesn't work, go to the Autodesk University website, and see if you can search for class # MA4282. Integrating AutoCAD® Electrical with Autodesk® Vault Professional. It might help.
