In addition to this thread in acad 2005: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=13515&highlight=Osnap+Functionality - I would like to see the ability to choose where Osnap snaps to on AEC objects. To have the ability to pick corner, baseline, edge, face of finish, top/bottom of member, etc. would be awesome.

This would be great to be able to have the AEC objects to work the way you describe. I have came across this situation many times. So this would get my vote.
