Have noticed that when generating a pline/breakline from Points to make a breakline find that as I zoom out with the mouse wheel the last leg of the polyline disappears. This didn't use to happen with LDD3. Anyone have a setting that will make it possible to keep my breakline generation visible while I'm entering it. Or is there another variable that is new to plines that interferes with the zoomwheel of my mouse. I use a Logitech, but everyone in our office with many different mice have the same problem with the wheel zoom.

Mike ,
You might get to see more of that 3d Polyline you are creating
by adjusting your video card's adaptive degradation.
Part of why the line doesn't appear is that it is not parallel to the
view, and won't show up until you finish entering it.
With time you will ignore it much as I do.
If this were an older version it would suggest issues with the
Display List drivers.....

So Mark you're saying that this is now a New Bug..... I'm running a ATI pci X800 video
board and can't find any setting that would interfere with my 3d plines. Could you be more
specific? I work with processing the survey data into dtm's and this is a major annoyance to have to make alot more breaklines just because I can't use my zoom in&out on the fly with the mouse wheel. I'm still hoping someone can give me a workaround other than making 3d polys manually. But, thanks for your input.

You can create a batch file that will connect your points for you if you are using the Survey Module. That response was a quoted answer, I usually create a TXT file for my breaklines and import them in that way. I have a couple routines that will export the point coords to a file and then in a text editor or Excel, I apply the elevation and save the file as a .FLT file for import .

You can export the points by point group for each breakline or by selection, so you know where to place the S and the Breakline group name.

Thanks mark, I'll give that a try as well. I still hold hope that there might be a answer
that explain why this happened in acad 2005.
