from the SSM. The error I get reads....

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0004 Exception at 650f87f0h

If I recover, I get this error.....

Internal Error: !layout.cpp@134: ePermanentlyErased

I have erased the drawing completely, cut a new sheet and re associated the x-refs and plotted the drawing. Closed it and when I went to open it again, all of this happened all over. I am not able to recover or insert the drawing.

I searched on the AutoCAD support site and nothing is mentioned about either of these errors. I also searched here on the AUGI forum. Any help would be great as I am about ready to chuck the PC out of the window and down 3 stories to the parking lot below!

Thanks in advance-
justin

Have you tried cleaning all the associated Xref files (Audit / Recover / WBlock / etc)?

Plus have a browse through the following threads (especially take note of any links within) -

Internal Error (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=5962)

File Recovery Options (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=6248)

Red AutoSNAP marker (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=5297)

Fatal Error ... blah blah blah (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=7434)

Have a good one, Mike

Thanks for the info Mike! I found out what I had done. I tried x-refing some info from LDT to AutoCAD 2005. Big surprise, it didn't work. So once I copy clipped the info I needed from the drawing, and pasted it into the AutoCAD 2005 drawing (of course after deleting the old dwg and creating a new one) it worked like it was suppose to!

Thanks again-
