I used to paste Excel sheets as OLE objects in LT 2002 and had no problems except for the size of the sheet. Now I am using a trial of LT 2005 and the vertical text in my Excel sheet prints as black rectangles. Did anyone encounter this problem?

Hi

Have a browse of the following threads (especially take note of any links within) -

Excel Spreadsheets in AutoCAD 2002 (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=9426)

Plotting an Excel file in 2004 (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=9606)

Please note that none of the threads I have pointed you towards actually answer your particular issue / problem. I only offer them as they do contain some useful information on OLE Objects and Plotting issues / problems that might prove useful in your search for an answer / solution.

Have a good one, Mike

Thank you for the clues but I didn't find the solution to my problem. I tried changing the OLE quality but it didn't do anything better to my vertical text.

I tried to paste the same sheet in LT 2002 and it works just fine. There are nice additions and improvements in LT 2005 but it seems we also have to deal with "subtractions" from previous versions.
