I have a title block that was made in LT 2004, Upgraded to LT 2205 and can not use the Hatch command. Tried changing the MaxHatch values to 100 & 10,000,000. When I select the hatch command, you can select all the options you want but when you go to preview the hatch the hatch area is alway empty. below is a copy of the commands.

Command: _bhatch
Select internal point: Selecting everything...
Selecting everything visible...
Analyzing the selected data...
Analyzing internal islands...
Select internal point:
<Previewing the hatch>
Pick or press Esc to return to dialog or <Right-click to accept hatch>:

Pick or press Esc to return to dialog or <Right-click to accept hatch>:
Hatch spacing too dense, or dash size too small.
Pick or press Esc to return to dialog or <Right-click to accept hatch>:

This only happens when I use our saved titleblock dwg to start a new drawing. If I start a drawing from scratch the hatch works.
Is there a simple option that needs to be checked/unchecked?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Have you looked at trying different "Scale" settings within the Hatch Dialog Box.

+

You might want to have a look at system variables -

Measureinit
Measurement (more likely to be a possible cause, seeing as you say the Hatch "problem" only occurs within drawings based on one particular drawing file).

Refer to the AutoCAD Online Help File [F1] and_or Search the Forums (http://forums.augi.com/search.php?) for detailed information on the above two.

Have a good one, Mike
