Details of Point of Intersection

When a line/polyline intersects an alignment, how to find the exact chainage and coordinates of the intersection point?

This is easy in MX but couldnot find the procedure in Civil 3d.

Any suggestions?

I like to add an annotation note, with station and offset. I'll add it by picking the intersection where the line/pline cross the alignment. I usually only use it temporarily for the information, but the note can be customized.

The suggested approach is great if I need to get the details for few locations.

But for multiple instances of lines/polyline intersecting the alignment this procedure is tedious and time consuming. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have a working example of stationoffset and stationoffsetex methods of .com api for alignments?

The following is stated somewhere in the forum but i cannot get it to work:

"StationOffset(Double, Double, Double, Double)
Returns the station and offset on an Alignment at given easting and northing values."
