View Full Version : AutoCAD LT network licensing

I'm sure AutoCAD would never consider this, since it would reduce their income, but I would like to see a network license for LT (like full has). I'd like to have extra full licenses for the engineers, but it's just not worth it (since some of them only view & plot). Buying LT for every engineer is actually more expensive than buying enough network licenses. Right now we're going to put Bentley's Redline on every computer, & tell the engineers to just wait until one of the CAD guys go home, until we figure out a better solution.

Hi Lionel

Please note I've *moved* this thread from the ACAD 2005 Wish List (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=57) Forum to this one as your Wish List Item refers to AutoCAD LT.

Thanks, Mike

Thanks, Mike. I didn't see this forum (the forum hierarchy is a little hard to navigate). But that's a subject for yet another forum... ;)

As some only view & plot why not use voloview or the DWF viewer for these guys - much cheaper.

Like your idea though.
