I find it interesting that sample line groups are not dynamic such that supplementing the group with a new sample line would result in the automatic redistribution of graphs. It's highly unlikely that you can determine all of the sample lines needed at preliminary design, but you essentially need them the first time you plot the sections using plan production tools (PPD) because they are not amenable to supplementation.
That... is frustrating when you have 100's of section sheets and need a sample line added 2 sheets in, for example. The problem is magnified when projections are used because the projections are also lost if you move them from their default insertion point.
The issue is known and been around a while now:
