I am thinking of getting one of these and wondered if anyone is using one with Revit?

It's a 17" widescreen (1,440 x 900), P4 3.2ghz, 512 or 1025 RAM, and has either a 64Mb Radeon Mobility 9700 or nVidia Go FX5700

I think is should overcome the slowdown on my 1.5ghz Celeron since upgrading to Revit 7.

i use a Toshiba P20 only upgrated to 1 Gb of ram...
It works very well, the wide screen allows to use Revit quite like a double screen and i don't feel the needing of my desktop with 3 screens!!! :-)
I think it's a good choice.
Regards.

Get the extra RAM and the nVidia video card. Better performance / compatibility with Revit...

Thank you

I am now actually looking at the HP zd8053 as well. Its very similar but has a better spec than the Toshiba. Also has a PCI express ATI x600 graphics card.

I am looking forward to Revit on a 17" widescreen though - whichever one I eventually choose.
