I am having a frustrating error. While in paperspace, going about my business with notes or what not, occasionally a line tries to snap to my profile grid. It is a generated profile view in model space, and can be snapped to while in model space. But the moment it attempts to snap to it through the viewport, Civil3D crashes. Every single time, without a moments hesitation. I don't know what is going on, but it has just been 2013 that I have been having this issue.

Anyone else having this issue? Is there some sort of Don't Crash setting I need to check on?

I remember that being an issue in C3D 2011. I have not had it occur in 2013 though.

Here was my post on this back in 2011, including a link to an animation showing it crash.

No solution unfortunately, but in hindsight I think it was related to the drawing, which was migrated up through C3D 2009 > C3D 2010 > C3D 2011

My users had this issue in C3D 2014 using an older file from C3D 2013 when hovering over profile view it locked up. The solution was turning grid off and limits to off, and of course -pu r (registered applications) and audit and fix errors.
