View Full Version : LDT and SSM, is this a fluke???

When I open a drawing, I created in AutoCAD 2005, the dst file always opens up with that drawing, which is great and as it is suppose to. If I open any drawing up that was created in AutoCAD 2005 in LDT, the SSM dialogue box opens as it normally does in AutoCAD. All of my information I placed in the DWT for the drawing is editable in LDT.

I was told by my retailer that SSM wasn't available in LDT. But it works, nothing gets corrupted and it all seems to marry the info all the same.

Just wondering if any other people have noticed this or if it was addressed elsewhere on the boards?

Thanks in advance

Would you please check your 'SDI' variable, and tell us what it says.
If it says 3 then you should explain more as how you did this.

Mike,

I just typed in SDI and it is set to 3 as a default. I have never changed that. I don't know what to tell you. I opened an AutoCAD 2005 drawing this morning and was able to edit the fields by right clicking on the DST file name, changing a sheet set property and it edited. This was discovered on another machine in our office and I have no explaination for it.
