Class Description: This class is designed for the mechanical companies specifically. There are millions of mechanical parts available in the real world. The reality is that Revit MEP is coming with several hundred parts. When it comes to wining projects, it is a rat race out there. If you are waiting for that day when Revit will come with millions of families out of the box; the truth is that you are more likely to go out of business waiting for that day before it happens. So what do you do? Do you stay competitive, win projects and take a great risk using a product that you haven’t used before. When you win a project how do you deliver in time if you have to spend a significant amount of time on developing content? The answer is simple: “Keep it simple”. I like to look at content as boxes and cylinders or a combination of boxes and cylinders. We will discuss at what stage of the project what detail level of content would make the most sense in order to increase efficiency and deliver within schedule.
