Hi
Please note I've *moved* this thread from the CAD Mgmt. General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=119) Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

It could be that you want to use PLOTSTAMP. See AutoCAD Help.

Hi
If John is correct with PlotStamp the following threads might be of some help....
DIESEL code - substitute loginname (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=6348)
rtext-plotstamp (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=11533)
Cannot get Plotstamp to work in acad 2005! (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=5996)
OR
How I originally read the question (probably got the wrong end of the stick), ModeMacro might be of some help....
Units reverting to Architectural / Imperial (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=7155)
active layer indicator (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=8135)
Drawing properties question... (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=13364)
Have a good one, Mike

Doesn't the full drawing path show up at the top of the screen next to the AutoCAD icon? I'm running AutoCAD 2002 LDD so I don't know if this is true for standard AutoCAD.

Choose Plot from the File Pull down menu.
The Plot dialog box opens.
Check the plot stamp option.
Click settings to set up you preferences.
I hope this helps.
