Autocad LT for Mac not quitting

I find after I have used ACAD for a while and want to close the program. When I click "quit", it never closes...It just doesnt respond until I force quit it. Im running the latest version and Im on Mavericks 10.9.4 on a macbook pro. Has anyone else had this issue or something similar?

I find that if I dont use the software for very long, it will quit just fine. Thanks for the help.
