Grading group incorporated in to Proposed surface

Massive parking lot proposed surface. Now I want to generate some grading objects for that same proposed surface. What is the BMP for incorporating grading objects into the Proposed surface?

I know I can manually add the breaklines. I am thinking there may be a more dynamic method so when grading group gets edited the surface will be able to rebuild.

Create model surface
Create grading group surface, which targets model surface
Create final surface
Paste model surface into final surface
Paste grading group surface into final surface
Set model and grading group surfaces to not display
Set final surface to display
