Title: Decision Making via Data Collection

Course Description: This session will focus on the future of the AEC industry and how technology has changed the way we work and collaborate with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). We will examine the trends of the BIM/CAD community and examine standards by reviewing data from the past, collecting data from the present, and focusing on where that information will take us in the future. This session will also analyze and compare philosophies from different firms and disciplines as we discuss the concepts and begin a framework for the vast amount of data created and stored when implementing and enforcing such change.
