Title: AutoCAD® Plant 3D Advanced Configuration and Customization

Course Description: Get the most out of AutoCAD Plant 3D, your piping projects, and your piping specs. We will look "under the hood" and follow AutoCAD Plant 3D data from the catalogs to the specs, and then into the model. We will explore how component properties in the model affect piping connections, and show how to extend AutoCAD Plant 3D to produce custom reports. In the class, we will also convert a project to use SQL Express and discuss the benefits and administrative impact of using a server-based project database. We will also create custom piping components using new content-creation features of the 2011 Spec Editor.
