Course Description: Learn how to customize Autodesk Topobase to manage smart grid networks, including solar and wind energy facilities. Autodesk Topobase offers the tools to create and optimize a data model for all the types of records you need to manage. This class presents step-by-step instructions for extending the Autodesk Topobase Electric data model for managing devices and workflows typically needed in a smart grid network. Utility managers and users of Autodesk Topobase will be able to take these steps and implement them on their own data models. Examples from two utilities will show the practical use of Autodesk Topobase with a smart grid utility network.
