Custom Properties in Find Items

Summary: When using custom property tabs with MS Access and Find Items populating the Category, Property, and Value fields takes a long time to search and provide a selection.

Description: The NWF should maintain custom property tab names and field names if the DataTools link is active. It appears Navisworks has to search the entire model from the beginning for each Find Item property every time after the NWF is opened. This can take upwards of 15 to 20 minutes for each Find Item property taking about 45 minutes to find items and create of update a Search Set for fairly large models. Could the search be improved so it's not a linear process?

I think there may be some room for data caching, so that properties read from a database are temporarily stored with the associated object and not looked up each time. Might pose a problem if the database is expected to update while the Navisworks session is active though.

Might also want to run a speed test with a system optimized for large databases like SQL Server rather than MS Access. The latter isn't exactly high-performance.
