If a not wanted line or other objects appears in wrong place at a late moment before drawing delivery a simple way of "erasing" these is to write a text strip on them containing only a dot and enough spaces to cover the line or what ever you want to cover. The text background should be set at "opaque".
Later on (when there is oceans of time available, usually!) you can try to discover what really caused the disturbing object.
