moving section views

I have two section views. I annotated some points in the view with a civil 3d label. i need to move them closer together, but
when i select them with a window and move one, the annotation does not go with it. what am i doing wrong or what is the proper
procedure to move them.

Move just the view, regen and the labels should move the the new location of the view?

that's what i thought too but that didn't work. also the elevation changed.
i also selected the label thinking there would be a reset option, wasn't there.

edit: i jumped the gun. yes MMccall, by just selecting the view and then move worked. i was windowing everything before.
