I wanted to increase the size of my 'open drawing' dialogue box in LDD2005. I would also like to increase the preview window in that same dialogue box.

You might check out MANUSOFT.COM to see if they have updated their QuikPik routine to allow you to do just thaT ( AND MORE, LIKE LOCKING TOOLBARS AND SUCH)

Thanks, 'quickpik' does do most of what I was looking for, but I would still like to increase the thumbnail preview screen. If there is anything else it would be greatly appreciated.

That would entail rewriting the GUI for that dialog. I know of one tool that can do that, but if I told you, you would have to be shot ;-) . Actually, I don't think there is a way to use the default DrawingOpen dialog to get the preview image any larger. If you look at Dotsoft.com, they have a tool called DWGBrowser that will create an HTML page that allows you to define the image size and lets you include links to the drawing in the page. This may be a bit troublesome to use though, because you will have to remember to check the project settings every time you open a drawing to make sure LDT is looking at the correct project data.

There is one more way to see what drawing you open.
It's to use Total Commander by Christian Ghisler (http://www.ghisler.com/)
With plugin CADView.
