We have exported a project to PDF using the Revit PDF writer. When have then opened Adobe Professional 7.0 and started a new PDF (basically creating a report). Then inserted the Revit generated PDF files. All is well so far. Then when you look at the sheet numbers on the Revit PDF files they are corrupted on several sheets. Several of the sheets have the same number, the cover sheet has a structural framing plan sheet number, etc. Any suggestions ideas?
You're on your own I'm afraid. PDF is no longer supported officially. Perhaps you should try DWF and DWF composer.
Have you tried a different pdf writer? Or embedded fonts?

I always just print using the Adobe PDFwriter as the printer device, and I've never had those kinds of problems.
Now printing PDF's of sheets, that's another story.

I print w/ the PDF writer and never have a problem. You may want to check under Properties, Advance if your Post Script Options is set to Outline.

honestly I do not think it is a problem generating the PDF's with the Revit PDF writer. I believe the problem is occurring when you start a new PDF in Adobe and import the Revit PDF files into the report. I have never had a problem just printing to the PDF's and printing them out either. This is a bit of a different animal here.
Process to Recreate the problem.
1. Generate multiple PDF's using the Revit PDF writer by pinebush. Use the selected sheet setting.
2. Open Adobe professional 7.0 or any adobe product for that matter the results appear to be the same. create a new PDF from multiple files (use Revit PDF files).
3. now look at the sheet numbers on the Revit drawing sheets
4. They should be corrupted.
It only takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Rather than starting a new report, try opening your first Revit generated pdf file, and then insert the other sheets into that file, & save to a new name.
That's the method I've used with no problems, but we're still on Adobe 5.0 here.

Well I have spoke with Adobe and they have indicated that it is a problem with the Revit
PDF writer. I did download a different pdf writer and gave that a try with success. However I did lose the hot links on the section and elevation markers. So it does appear to be a problem with the Revit PDF writer. The support team is still working on the problem. I will update you with additional information as it comes in.
