View Full Version : Non-Editable Worksets

I'm sending my primary workstation back to it's factory for some warranty repair work.
I have backed out all my files onto an external hard drive, and have been
working on them on my primary box for two days without a prob.

Today I switched computers, and now my worksets are not editable at all.
When I attempt to make them editable, it will not let me select the yes radio drop-down, or highlight and press "editable". I get an error stating "cannot edit file because it is being edited by another user"...

I have tried doing a "save as", and even tried renaming my windows user account to match my other box. I am a solo practitioner.

I don't recall weather or not I chose "do not relinquish" or not, if that makes a difference.

If anyone is familiar with this prob., I could sure use an assist.

FedEx is picking up my puter between noon and 3pm PST on Friday.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Nothing to do with the windows account, - In Revit , Open Settings > Options and check that the workset user name is the same as it was.
