What ever happened to Object Enablers? We constantly exchange data with outside consultants who se Land Dektop and Arch Desktop (see thread Beyond Object Enablers .... http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=20351 ) and they just send their DWG file. We have upgraded to AutoCAD 2006 and now get this dialog when we try to open their drawings ... (see attached image).
Are there no longer object enablers for AutoCAD? We always have to go back to them to have them "Export" the file to AutoCAD before we can use and edit the files. This is an extra step that affects productivity and we alsways seem to have to rerequest data from the same sources making it doubly annoying whenever we exchange information.
What is the current status of Object Enablers for AutoCAD 2006 and the current verticals? Does anyone have a good link to this subject on Autodesks website?
Thanks in advance ...
