The file required to complete this action was not found...

When I first installed autocad 2006 my sheet set program worked fine. Now I get an error when I try to go to the managing page setups option. The error reads: "The file required to complete this action was not found. You must select a file for page setup override storage to complete this action." Has anyone run into this before and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Did you change the file or tab name?

Nope, I just selected some drawings to include in the sheet set and when I try to go to print them at 1/2 size it gives me that error.

Could you provide a screen shot of the error?

One thing that you might check is the path of the drawing that you inserted into sheet set. Right click on the file and make sure it's pointing to the correct location.

I checked and the path links are correct. I am unable to get the screenshot to work, keeps telling me that it is too large a file to upload. The error happens when I am in the sheet set window and go to the publish pulldown and try to select the manage page setups option.

I had this happen a couple of weeks ago...

To fix the sheet set:
Right click on the sheetset name and open properties, then go to page setup override files and browse to insert a dwt.

To fix future sheet sets:
open options, files, template settings and set the Default Template for Sheet creation and Page Setup Overrides.
