Flat roofs and fascia settings

If you're using a flat or nearly flat roof in Revit, make sure that you fascia type is set to plumb cut, or that the depth of the fascia if using the other types is greater than the depth of the assembly.

Elsewise Revit will actually scale the roof thickness down (!!) to fit into the specified fascia depth.

Perhaps the Factory could comment on this?

Of course the workaround is "Don't do that" :-P

Word from the factory is - You're right, this is something we do allow but shouldn't. I can see how it could get really confusing. For now, take Wes's advice and "don't do that"!
