CPU Brake for XP

I am one of those who finds 12 for windows faster than anything since.
But if you try to load 12 into ans XP machine, you will get a divide by zero
error because the processors are so much faster.
There is a way to slow down the processor referred to as CPU brake:

What is the point of a newer faster system just to slow it down. You are missing out on alot of new great features by staying with 12. It might be faster, but at what expense?

Have you confirmed that your divide by zero is really caused by the processor speed? Have you ramped down the processor and actually eliminated the error?

Just Curious ...... I personally would never give up the great new features in the 2000 series products as they greatly improve my productivity over anything R12 had to offer, regardless of program speed

I hope this helpful to all It's probably nothing to do with the current processors but the fact that the system files that 12 for windows requires are no longer part of the OS. If you can find a set of old Win31 disks it'll probably work.

You'll also need to find a 486 to run it as well. ;)
