Hi, I'm wblocking (on a 2004 LT) a particular drawing of mine but when I tried to open that on an earlier version of AutoCad it's in-accessible bec. it's been done in an incompatible version. How could I change the default settings of the wblock for this particular problem so that I could be able to pre-select version to save? I tried looking in the options tab but to no avail. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi
As far as I am aware you can not control the DWG file format that is used with the WBlock command.
Below comes via AutoCAD 2004 & 2005 reviews from JTB World -
Wblock and Refedit does not save into the same version as is set in OPTIONS. It always saves in 2004 DWG format. This makes it annoying in a mixed environment during migration when some still uses older versions. You might be helped with this code (http://www.jtbworld.com/VBA/SavedTo2004.htm).Have a good one, Mike
