Export Points

I am trying to create an ASCII file, from point data base in 2004, in the format of PNEZD (comma delimited). I go through the points export option, export points and after format manager and destination are set when you select OK to begin process a progress window appears and within that window it says "Opening point destination. Starting read." and that is as far as the process goes. Any Ideas?

Hello Frederick,

You do have Service Pack 1 installed. don't you? This is supposeed to fix problems with the Point Export utility. Also, make sure that you have Write access to the folder you are trying to create the file in. Could it be that the connection to the server is just extremely slow? This is one of the bugs that is fixed in SP1 also.
