Thank you very much for the support.

REVIT is awesome and easy to learn. Not to mention the drastic time savings gained once your 'templates and families' are developed.

Our apologies for the audio quality on the first 3 lessons of REVIT 8. We got it fixed by lesson 4.

We are hoping to complete the REVIT A - Z series by the end of September using 8.1.

Stay tuned for more REVIT Tutorials.

I didn't really notice any audio problems at all. You did a great job and I'm looking forward to the rest!

Because of your tutorials I started using Revit last Friday and should be able to finish my first set of cds in Revit by the end of the week! (not a 40 hr week though.) I had already started this house in ADT 2005 but once I saw what Revit could do I started over because it is perfect for this project. I will post some images once I'm further along.

Thanks,
Ronnie

Daryl,
As an ACAD user since r.14, I have been taught not to think the way my architecture professors wanted me to in studio. Now that I have finally taken the leap into Revit, the ACAD bulb is finally dimming and a whole new world of design possibility is beginning to shine. Thanks for your great lessons on Revit.

I appreciate your non-scripted approach to the video presentations. Even your "mistakes" were helpful in seeing how quickly they could be solved in Revit at ANY TIME in the project. Incredible!! Keep up the good work for the newly baptized members, and I honestly say I had to laugh to hear your Canadian drawl while saying "garage" (gehrehge, phonically)!

Thanks again!
Eric

Eric, Xenon1,

Thanks for those great words.

I too think the non scripted "make a few mistakes' but fix them on the fly approach is great for learning. Everyone is going to make those same mistakes so why not show them how to get back on track.

I am preparing for my next set or REVIT 8.1 videos and it shouldn't be long.

Thanks once again,

I've got to head out to the 'garage' to do some work.....hehehe

Ok, it's up today. Yesterday it couldn't be found...could be an ISP issue. Thanks!

Sorry people, ISP problems is right !

First time down in 12 months.........not bad I suppose, considering the band width we do every day.

Thanks for the appreciative note......never get tired of that.
I know all too well how tough it is to learn this stuff on your own or out of a book.

Looks like it may be faltering again. I downloaded one Family video on a cable connection and it took 50 minutes. Thank God a football game was playing in the living room.
