Hello...

In 6.0, I am unable to have the radiosity information appear in the final raytraced image.

I am following the same procedure as in 5.1:
- create interior view...
- click "Radiate" button ... radiosity image is rendered in view....
- click "Raytrace "button ... view is raytraced.

I have done test renders in both 5.1 & 6.0 with the same simple scene... works fine in 5.1 but not 6.0.

Am I missing something obvious?? Could it be a hardware issue? I'm using an ATI Radeon with OpenGL turned off.

Thanks.

I don't think you are missing anything; I have done a lot of searching & testing, and have also drawn a blank.

It looks broken in V6 to me...

The "Radiate..." button radiates as advertised (I won't go into the trouble of getting the radiate settings to remember what quality setting you are using)

The "Rayshade..." button merrily removes the pretty Radiosity solution and does a rayshade - without using the pre-rendered radiosity solution!

Saving the Radiosity solution also seems to have no effect on this.

*sigh* at least I can draw concrete stairs....

this is not good, i'm seriously screwed if they don't fix this asap. we just landed a job that requires some serious animation, and radiated interiors

the radiate menu command in the view menu works properly...

Just received an email from Revit Support confirming the bug. They say they are working on a fix for a future release....

Is there a work around? I couldn't get the work around that Wes described to work for me.
